Menama Romelu Lukaku Bolingoli is a Belgian striker who plays for Chelsea in the Premier League and the Belgium national team. Lukaku signed a professional deal with Anderlecht till 2012 after he turned 16 years old in 2009. On the 24th of May 2009, as a 69th-minute substitution for a defender, he made his Belgian First Division debut against Standard Liège in the Championship play-off match. During the 2009–10 season, Lukaku made his senior debut for Anderlecht, scoring his first goal against Zulte. He scored four goals in the 2009–10 UEFA Europa League as the club advanced to the quarterfinals.

Lukaku signed a five-year contract with Chelsea in August 2011 for €12 million. Lukaku made his Stamford Bridge debut to replace a player in victory over Norwich City. Lukaku played with Chelsea against Fulham in the League Cup. Chelsea eventually won the game on penalties. West Bromwich Albion

He joined West Bromwich Albion on a season-long loan on August 10, 2012. He scored his first league goal eight days later, against Liverpool, after coming on as a substitute in the 77th minute. He made his full debut in a 1-0 victory at The Hawthorns, scoring the game’s only goal. Lukaku came on as a 70th-minute replacement, scored a penalty, and assisted another player as West Brom beat Sunderland on November 24.


Lukaku joined Everton on a season-long loan on the final day of the summer 2013 transfer window. On September 21, 2013, the striker made his debut for the Toffees against West Ham United, scoring the game-winning goal. He scored twice and assisted a goal on his home debut against Newcastle United nine days later. In the next match, he was defeated by Manchester City.

Manchester United

Lukaku signed a five-year contract with Manchester United on July 10, 2017, with a one-year extension option. It was said to be valued at £75 million at first, plus an additional £15 million. Inter Milan

Lukaku signed a five-year contract with Inter Milan on August 8, 2019, for a speculated club record cost of €80 million. Lukaku made his Inter Milan debut against Lecce on the first day of the Series A season on August 26. Lukaku also became the third Belgian to score in Series A for Inter. Belgium National Football Team

Lukaku was a part of Belgium’s under-21 team and debuted against Slovenia, scoring a goal. Lukaku was named to Belgium’s senior squad for the first time in February for a friendly against Croatia.
